Frequently asked questions
Will the paint fade or chip outside?
The flower bowl is finished with baked enamel, which is built to handle rain, sun, and freezing temperatures. Most owners report the colors stay vivid for years.
What kind of birds will it attract?
Small songbirds — finches, tits, chickadees, sparrows, and wrens. The flower shape draws them in just like a real bloom.
What seed should I use?
Mixed wild bird seed or sunflower hearts work best. The dish is deep enough to hold a generous scoop without spilling.
Can it stay out in winter?
Yes. The iron frame and enamel finish are designed for year-round outdoor use.
How to use
- Step 1: Choose a spot — a low tree branch, shepherd's hook, or patio eave works best.
- Step 2: Hook the chain securely over the branch or hook.
- Step 3: Fill the flower bowl with mixed bird seed or sunflower hearts.
- Step 4: Refill every few days and enjoy the show.
